TRAVIEE is a Hong Kong-born, Lisbon-based artist working primarily in contemporary painting.

His practice explores desire and identity through abstracted forms, gestures, and fragmented visual language. Language, including Chinese characters, is incorporated not as readable text, but as visual elements — shifting between rhythm, memory, and emotional tension. Often drawing from quiet states of longing and a childlike openness of perception, the work resists resolution and remains intentionally incomplete.

Rather than offering direct narratives, the work allows meaning to surface gradually. Through repetition, scale, and compositional restraint, each painting holds a space for reflection, where interpretation remains open and unresolved.
